Shine is run by Lenny and her cousin Faith. When you call, you reach one of us, and one of us is who shows up. We treat every home the way a good guest would, and every client like family.

What does elder care include?
Non-medical help at home: morning and evening routines, grooming help, a steady arm on the stairs, companionship, walks, rides to appointments, and simple meals with the kitchen tidied after.
How much does it cost?
Every home is different, so we agree on a plan and a price at the free in-home consultation, before any work starts. There's no charge for that first visit and no obligation.
Can you clean the house while you care for Mom or Dad?
Yes. That's what makes Shine different: care and cleaning in the same visit, from the same team, on one bill.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Visits are scheduled on the days you choose, and you can change or pause them anytime.
Will it be the same people every time?
That is the plan: the same small team every visit, not a rotating list of strangers. If your regular person is ever sick or away, we tell you ahead of time and agree any stand-in with you first.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, 7 days a week by appointment, weekends included.
What about refunds, insurance, or paying through Medicaid or the VA?
Lenny or Faith will go over payment, cancellations and any coverage questions with you on a call or at the free visit. Call Lenny at (910) 265-8055.
Do you provide medical or nursing care?
No. Shine provides non-medical help at home, not nursing or medication management. In an emergency, call 911.
